Return Policy

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, Raindrops In Virginia will accept returns for either an exchange, store credit, or a full refund within 30 days from the purchase date and accompanied by a receipt. All permanently discounted or marked down items which are indicated as FINAL SALE are NOT eligible for store credit/exchange or full refunds.



After 30 days from the purchase date, Raindrops In Virginia will accept returns subject to the following conditions.

1) All items can be returned for an exchange or store credit up to 30 days from the purchase date without any extra charges if it is in sellable condition.

2) All items returned for a refund after 30 days from the purchase date will be subject a $15 restocking fee if it is in sellable condition and this is only up to 30 days after the return grace period.

3) No refunds or exchanges will be permitted after 60 days from the purchase date.



Any items that have a quality defect as reported by the customer will be excluded from the above policies.





Repair Services Terms & Conditions

Repair Policy (Antiques, Clocks & Watches)

By Owner/ Representative signing the repair slip, they Agree to the terms listed herein the 'Repair Policy'.
The majority of repair estimates will be given within 7-10 business days as repairs are only performed in-house. We do not use outside vendors in any repair procedures. We cannot receive any items or property without named Owner recipients: Name, Address, Phone, and Signature upon repair Envelope, Invoice, and/or Repair Agreement. 
A Non-refundable $75.00 Retainer Fee shall be charged within the dropoff of any piece.
Raindrops In Virginia reserves the right to refuse a piece that we have or have not worked on due to prior repair, improper handling, or general mistreatment or abuse.

Promise dates on the repair envelope and/or Invoice are purely estimates, as exact dates of service may be unknown due to extent of damage of piece, parts availability from manufacturers, or other circumstances. If the piece(s) repair estimate is under $300, we shall commence with the labor without contacting Owner/ Representative for approval. If the piece(s) repair estimate is over $300, we shall commence with the labor only after contacting Owner/ Representative for approval.
You will be contacted when the item is ready to be picked up, or shipping has been arranged and purchased beforehand. All repairs made by Raindrops In Virginia have a 12month warranty. For watches this warranty does NOT cover external parts (i.e. crown, tube, crystal, bezel, bracelet., etc.) or misuse (i.e. not screwing down the crown prior to water exposure, subjecting a non-water resistant watch to moisture, exposing the watch to extreme shock, etc.). For Clocks this warranty does NOT cover external parts (i.e. Pendulums, Chains/ Cable, Hands, Chimes, Glass, Clock Case, etc.) or misuse (i.e. Over-winding, moving hands Counter clockwise, Forced setting, Forced operation, Moving the piece in an abusive manner, use of Glues and Adhesives, etc.)

Description of the item(s) received is subject to amendment following inspection by the Conservator or Horologist (Watchmaker).

If Raindrops In Virginia is unable to contact you and/or repair is not paid for 60 days from the call of completion date, property will be considered abandoned and retained by the company. A lien may be filed and foreclosure action may be taken for the cost of repairs and all other costs pertaining to the lien.

All articles which are antique, irreplaceable, fragile or brittle nature, or susceptible to damage from light, heat, or moisture are accepted on condition that the customer accepts all risks with respect to any service requested to be performed.



Notice of Limited Liability: By signing the Repair Invoice/ Envelope you agree that the appropriate description and value(s) of the repair(s) listed on the repair envelope are correct, and accept the Raindrops In Virginia's 'Repair Services Terms & Conditions'. This store, including its employees, accepts no responsibility for the condition or identification of Clocks or Watches. Items are submitted to this store for repair only, and we will not act as an issuer of the item(s) listed. We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, and/or theft unless said loss is due to our negligence. However, any loss, damage or theft will be limited to the cost of repair or replacement of item(s), but will not exceed $250.00 or the amount of your insurance deductible, whichever is less. Should no value be listed via an included appraisal, the store liability will be limited to $75.

Confirmation of address and phone, or valid driver’s license must be presented to pick-up items. Raindrops In Virginia must be notified in advance if a person other than the one(s) named on this slip will be picking up the item(s). Raindrops In Virginia may request an approval of another party picking up your item in writing. Also by signing repair Invoice/ Envelope, customer agrees to pay quoted amount in full before receiving repaired goods. Once the piece has been completed, the customer shall be contacted by means specified by the customer. Once client has been contacted of the pieces completion (Call of Completion), client has 30 days to pick up piece(s) uncharged from the completion contact date. After 30 days past the completion contact date a $1.25 per day storage fee shall accrue. Client shall pay the full total as well as any fees incurred before the piece(s) shall be received. If the full quoted amount and any fees incurred are not paid within 60 days from the call of completion date, items shall be considered abandoned and shall become property of Raindrops In Virginia LLC.

The Company cannot view or store your Payment Information, and only uses a third party encryption Service Providers to process Payment Information (including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, etc.) in compliance with the industry standards.

Please note The Company works with Service Providers (as defined below) to handle payment transactions. You are subject to the Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions of our Service Providers when utilizing a third party service through The Company Services. Please review the Service Providers' Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions before using their services.

Correspondence Information: If you sign up, email us, subscribe to our Social Media outlets, newsletters, sweepstakes, or mailing lists, we may keep your message, email address, and contact information to respond to your requests, provide the requested products or Services, and to provide notifications or other correspondences to you.

Sponsorship Information: Users may have the option to fill out an application for sponsorship via the Services, thus, we may collect your personal data such as your first and last name, email, phone number, address, resume, and age to assist with sponsorship requests.


Promotions & Sweepstakes Information: If you register for our promotions or sweepstakes, The Company and our partners may send you emails or other correspondence regarding the contest for which you registered, and other contests, promotions, and sweepstakes.

Information we do not collect through your use of the Services includes:

Cookies, Web Beacons, Links, And Other Tracking Technologies: The Company does not keep track of how you use and interact with the Services through the use of cookies, web beacons, links, and other tracking technologies.

Our third-party partners may use cookies or similar technologies as aforementioned in order to provide you with advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests.

IP Addresses: We do not collect the IP addresses of users of certain Services, such as website visitors, those that log in to the Services, and those who post messages to the communities and forums. We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting the Services and providing the Services to you.

Advertising Information: We partner with third parties to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third-party partners may use cookies or similar technologies in order to provide you with advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. The Company offers various communities and forums across the Services. We offer several features that allow users to connect and communicate in public or semi-public spaces as part of these Services. Please note requests to delete or remove your information do not necessarily ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information posted, and removed information may persist in backup copies indefinitely. Please note that if you choose to delete your information or opt-out of the collection and use of your information, you understand that certain features, including but not limited to access to the Services, may no longer be available to you.

5.3 Data Retention

The Company will retain your information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, for as long as an account is active, as described in this Privacy Notice, or as needed to provide the Services to you. The Company will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your information to comply with applicable tax/revenue laws), resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and as otherwise described in this Privacy Notice. In addition, The Company sellers may also be required to retain and use your information in order to comply with certain legal obligations. We also retain log files for internal analysis purposes. These log files are generally retained for a brief period of time, except in cases where they are used for site safety and security, to improve site functionality, or we are legally obligated to retain them for longer time periods. We may delete your personal data from our systems as part of a data retention plan. Following termination or deactivation of a Services Account, The Company may retain your information and content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and audit purposes.

The security of your personal data is important to us. The Company takes reasonable efforts to secure and protect the privacy, accuracy, and reliability of your information and to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. The Company implements security measures as we deem appropriate and consistent with industry standards. As no data security protocol is impenetrable, The Company cannot guarantee the security of our systems or databases, nor can we guarantee that personal data we collect about you will not be breached, intercepted, destroyed, accessed, or otherwise disclosed without authorization. Accordingly, any information you transfer to or from Services are provided at your own risk.

Please do your part to help us keep your information secure. Services Account information is protected by a password. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access to your account and information by choosing your password carefully and by keeping your password and computer secure, such as by signing out after using the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and Services Account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or Services Account. The Company specifically reserves the right to terminate your access to the Services and any contract you have with The Company’s related to the Services in the event it learns or suspects you have disclosed your Services Account or password information to an unauthorized third party.
